Pebble is very hyperactive and has the attention span of a squirrel. He's also very social, tends to talk really fast and is accident prone. He's always hurt and or in the middle of getting hurt, either because he did something dumb or he is just clumsy. Often it's a case of both.. He's not always the sharpest knife in the drawer and tends to do some stupid things. But, hey, who doesn't? Thinking is overrated anyway. He's somehow both no thoughts head empty and head full to many thoughts, go vrmmmmm. He loves bugs and theater and will drag anyone onto a stage. He writes his own stuff and forces his friends to act it out with him. Other than that, he's sweet but can be a bit oblivious to other people's emotions. That doesn't mean he doesn't care about his friends, in fact, they are their entire world, and he tries really hard to help them feel better and brighten up their day. He just doesn't always pick up on things. Despite that, Pebble can come off as scary to people who don't know him because his a bit odd and his lack social awareness/cues. It doesn't help that he says some out-of-pocket things sometimes that are kinda morbid or concerning. He was 100% that kid who cut a worm in half to see what would happen.
Pebble was shot out of the sky while in bat form, causing him to fall, hit his head, and forget everything about his past. Pebble now resides in Fern's cabin after she brought him there in chapter two.
**SPOILERS AHEAD**
Ch.2 Roadkill:
Chapter two opens up with people getting shot while in bat form, causing him to fall and hit his head. (Note the chapter was made a while before everything was posted, so things might get changed. Like the arrow in this chapter that shot Pebble is being changed to a bullet.) The fall would cause Pebble to lose all his memories, even the knowledge of his own name. Fern would later find Pebble and bring him to her house for potions, thinking he was a regular bat and dead. Much to her surprise, Pebble was not only alive but also full grown man. The next day, when Fern found Pebble, he woke up, stole a popsicle (which he immediately threw up because he's a vampire), glared at Fern, before declaring his name was Pebble after realizing he doesn't remember anything at all and doesn't know who on earth Fern is.
Chapter three, Pebble kept on telling Fern about his new friend while accidentally causing problems for Fern. Fern didn't really believe him at first and was just trying to get things done around the house. That was until Fern walked into the incident.
