Personality
Fern is a laid back, sweet person. She is very much a people pleaser and has a tendency to be a pushover. She's fairly mature, although it's not out of character for her to be a bit rash sometimes without thinking through the consequences.
Backstory
Fern ran away from NYC to live in a cabin in the middle of the woods near Salem, Massechusetts.
Chapters Appeared In
**SPOILERS AHEAD**
Ch.1 Fern:
In this chapter, Fern calls for her familiar, Spider, after she drinks coffee, only to realize he is missing. She spends the rest of the chapter searching for him until she finds Spider stuck in a trap. After being reunited with her Familiar, the two of them go back home where Fern feeds him. During the search for Spider Fern rips down a propaganda poster about an evil witch in the woods that looks a lot like her.
Ch.2 Roadkill:
While Fern was wandering in the forests around her house, she stumbled onto an injured bat. The bat had an injured wing and head, as well as burn marks all over its body. Fern assumed the bat was dead and brought it home to use it in potions. To her surprise, when she woke up the next day, the bat was not only alive but actually just some guy. After asking the man a bunch of questions, he didn't answer she learned that the man was a vampire named Pebble.

Chapter three, Pebble kept on telling Fern about his new friend while accidentally causing problems for Fern. Fern didn't really believe him at first and was just trying to get things done around the house. That was until Fern walked into the incident.
